Our calendula salve is hand-crafted from start to finish. We infuse locally grown and dried calendula flowers in avocado oil and use locally produced beeswax to create the desired consistency of the final product. Our calendula salve is unscented and can be used by anyone whose skin needs some love.

Calendula is known for her gentle yet powerful ability to help with dry skin, wound healing, diaper rash, sun damage and much more.

How to Use

Apply the salve as needed. Scoop it out of the container using clean dry hands or a small spatula.

We like to use calendula salve before bedtime. It is quite greasy. If applying to your hands, you can use moisturizing cotton gloves which can be purchased at your local health store or online. Similarly, old pajamas/socks, etc. can be worn if the salve is applied elsewhere.

Patch test on a small area to ensure that there is no allergic reaction.

How to Store Your Salve

  • Because we do not use preservatives in our salves, care must be taken to avoid introducing any moisture into the product. To extend shelf life and avoid contamination, use clean and dry hands or a small spatula to scoop the product from the jar.
  • We recommend storing the product away from heat or direct sunlight to prevent melting. In case it melts, simply let it solidify again at room temperature.

Stored at room temperature, our salves will keep for a year or longer.
