Our St. John's Wort lip balm is a blend of antiviral herbal oils that may be useful for somebody prone to getting herpes simplex outbreaks (cold sores). If you have tried other lip balms for cold sores and were not happy with the results, I hear you. I've been there too! Which is why I created this lip balm. 

St. John's Wort lip balm can be used at the onset of and throughout the herpes simplex outbreak. However, if cold sores are a frequent occurrence, we recommend using it as an everyday lip balm. 

Note that we opted to put this lip balm in a tin to avoid contamination of the contents. Please use clean hands or a small spatula to scoop it out of the tin and apply to your lips or any other area that requires it.

Ingredients

Avocado oil, olive oil, lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) leaves, St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) herb*, castor oil*, cocoa butter, local beeswax.

How to Use

Use as your everyday lip balm, as needed. Alternatively, you can apply it as often as possible at the first sign of and throughout a herpes simplex outbreak.

Patch test on a small area to ensure that there is no allergic reaction.

How to Store

Store away from heat or direct sunlight to avoid melting.
